A visit to Ceredigion offers so much with its idyllic Blue Flag family-friendly beaches for those with young children, impressive coastal paths for the outdoor enthusiast and explore the towns, caf\u00e9s, castles and shops.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

With retirement now on the horizon we are looking forward to being able to spend even more time at Brownhill caravan park and enjoying this beautiful and peaceful part of the country.

\"DolphinsCardigan Bay is one of the best places around the UK to see dolphins. Regular dolphin and wildlife boat trips are available down in New Quay. \u00a0More information on the dolphins is available on the Visit Wales site\u00a0available here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre based in New Quay is a great place to visit to learn more about marine wildlife and also have many events running throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Another ‘must see’ place for wildlife enthusiasts is Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest just outside Aberystwyth with daily feeding (2pm in winter and 3pm in summer) which can attract up to 150 Red Kites. \u00a0There is the Barcud Trail (an easy access route around the lake) and the caf\u00e9 offer fantastic views of this spectacle. There is also a bird hide overlooking the feeding area. RSPB Cymru staff and volunteers are on site most days throughout the summer to answer questions about red kites and other birds and wildlife at Bwlch Nant yr Arian. There is more for bird lovers at RSPB Ynyshir and also the Osprey Centre in the same area.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

There is also the Welsh Wildlife Centre based in Cilgerran near Cardigan which is great for both adults and children of all ages with adventure play areas, Nature Trails and indoor play activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Canoeing\"Being a coastal region, there is definitely plenty to do out on the water just down the road from us in New Quay to include:<\/p>\n

– canoeing
– surfing
– kayaking
– swimming (many beaches have lifeguards)
– surfing
– windsurfing
– sailing
– stand-up paddle boarding<\/p>\n

If water is not your thing there are a number of mountain bike trails and skills park suitable for Beginners up to Advanced up in Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest.<\/p>\n

The best of the walks are along the excellent coastal path which runs all around the Ceredigion Heritage Coast.<\/p>\n
